This book reminds me of Beauty and the Beast for some reason, but it is a good little picture book about a prince and his cat. It is kind of told like Cinderella, and can be refered to as a sort of fairy tale. I would recommend this book to any kid or child around the ages of eight to ten who are into animals and fairy tales-like plots. Nothing too special about it, but it is a good bedtime read for a kid.

A nice light read. A new twist to Anne McCaffrey and very enjoyable too. I would have liked it to be longer - as always with her books - but you can't have everything !
