As is with some of Laurrell K. Hamilton's books, some are plot-thickeners and some are merely the jumps in between those big moments. This book was one of those small jumps, but used effectively to highlight the importance of Mistral in the grand scheme of things. A very well written book, I am really enjoying this series, but I hope it doesn't go in the way of the Anita Blake series. (Way too much sex not enough story).
The fifth book in Laurell k. Hamilton’s ‘Merry Gentry’ series. While this book was written as well as the previous books I found it slightly disappointing, in that it did not seem to have much story line. It seemed like a bit of a filler to (hopefully) link the previous book to the next. As always the sex scenes were very descriptive an enjoyable, if only we all had the stamina of these characters!
