A promising start to another well written trilogy from master writer Robin Hobb. Bingtown with its strange traditions, and hidden inhabitants is a magical place, an appropriate setting then for sentient ships, with the ability to speak and help sail themselves.
With more richly woven plotlines, and wonderfully realised characters, this series promises as many satisfying evenings as I spent reading the assasin series.
Fabulous read.
