This is the first book in the Otherland series. In this book the story takes a long time to get the story started due to a number of factors. The large number of characters and the complexity of the world that the series is set in. The world is interesting and while this book is mostly set in the real world the rest of the books are set in a virtual reality world that is introduced in this book. Many people think that this book moves to slow so if you like fast books then this is not for you.
