I really enjoy reading books by James Patterson as he is such a good crime and thriller genre writer, and Season of the Machete did not let me down. I really enjoyed the way that you were kept on the edge of your seat until the end and the twists and turns in the plots. If you are a James Patterson fan you will enjoy this book
read another Patterson book or 26 volumes of income tax legislation? I'll go with the tax. Another boring book by Patterson that could have easily been cut down (or better yet never published). As usual the "#1 bestseller". Do some research and you'll find that these books never go # 1.
This is my ninth novel by Mr. Patterson. I guess I have been spoiled with Alex Cross stories. I try to read all a Author writes if I enjoy his books. I believe this to be his third and I have read all the rest. I felt he was still learning in this book. Very confusing, plenty of action but no growth of new characters, as I finshed it I realized that Peter was still in pursuit, I couldn't tell that until the final sentence. We all improve with time and so has JAMES, all the rest have been great and I will read more as they come.
