– Customer review on 22/07/2007 I read this book only a few weeks after the Virginia Tech murders, and certainly made me think. 19 minutes can change lifes. In this story, a bullied boy finally takes his revenge upon his fellow school mates and kills and injures them in just 19 minutes. We follow the story continually out of the past into the present. we explore Peter (the killer)'s relationship with his parents his classmates who bullied him and the one girl he ever loved. The girl that used to be his best freind but then abandoned him for the popular crowd. Nineteen Minutes tells of acts of desperation where a person is so cornered they see no other way out.
