If you have enjoyed his other tales then you cannot go past invisible monsters. Palahiuk is immensely gifted at telling a story and telling it well.
Invisible Monsters is not a far stretch from his previous offerings, but something pleasantly different exudes from this novel.
A fantastic book and if you are unfamiliar with Palahniuk's work why not start with this superb book.

this is a real must read of a book. really vivid imagery, and an original story! i first heard of this author because panic! at the disco often alludes to his work. in this one, a model is left without her jaw following a horrible accident, and then everyone she knows begins to shun her. an excellent sotry, well worth a read!

probably one of favorite books of all time a great book which ill try to describe how good it is without ruining any of the plot details. chuck palahniuk is a great writer and this is a great book which everyone should really have a read of. his style seems to be at its peak in this great satire of cult life and cult celebrity status, get it its very good.
