Good if you want a light hearted love story written in true Janet Evanovish style. Very Mills and Boon type of story no real substance gorgeous girl meets gorgeous man with a bit of macho stuff going on but at least the girl in Janet's book has a bit of get up and go.

A laugh out loud, hilarious book about a woman trying to change her life and find a husband. Alex manages to get in to all sorts of situations in the wilds of Alaska - much to the exasperation of Casey the male lead. A must not miss book for any Janet Evanovich fan.

i thought this book was pretty fantastic. it had great humour, and i loved the characters, especially that of alex. it was overall a fantastic read, i hugely recommend it to those who love a great read on a cold winters night. definitely worth reading, fantastic! loved it.

My family lives in Alaska, so I started to read with some trepidation. And then, I started laughing, until I couldn't breathe, tears rolled down my face and I slid out of my chair. A hard hearted, calculating business woman, Alex coldbloodedly sets out to Alaska (because of the favorable male:female ratio, don't you know)to find a husband. And she does - just not what she planned on. Of course, she also didn't plan to fall in the drink, or get stuck with a gunshop, or ... well, read it for yourself. Ms. Evanovich scores once more, for truth, justice and love in odd corners!
