A powerful tale for teenagers of the world's potential Armageddon. Some moralizing on the importance of appreciating the life that you lead but done in such a way as not to be preachy. Also raises some interesting ideas on religion and the notion that if God is to be thanked for all that is good is he equally to be blamed when things go wrong?

This is a great 'end of the world' young adult novel. A comet collides with the moon and moves it closer to the earth which affects the earth completely - there are more disasters (earthquakes, volcanoes and tsunamis), the tides are munted and come in closer and wipe out coast cities. This is told in diary form of a teenage girl. A totally engrossing novel that will appeals to adults as well. Even though it isn't actually mentioned from what happened to other countries I think NZ would of gotten totally wiped out but oh well.
