Pseudo historical, this book has plenty of detail of the times and is a good read for those who like action. Of that there is plenty as the characters develop from a young age to manhood and learn to survive in a harsh era. Enjoyable.

My husband is loving this book, as he is a big fan of Conn Iggulden. He wants to rush through it so he can start the next one. A great introduction to the Conquereor series.

Strong story line, with great detail on the hard times of Genghis's era. Looking forward to getting the next instalment. Recomended read if you like historical fiction.
