A wonderful introduction to Kenyon's werehunters for those who have never encountered them. The book is filled with witty dialogue, a solid plot and hot love scenes. While it is a novella it is well worth the price you will pay (rather cheap on this site) and as such I highly recommend this book to all romance fans and those who enjoy Kenyon in particular. A truly wonderful novel, Enjoy!
One of the first stories in the Dark Hunter series, Dragonswan deals with the Were Hunters, more specifically a Dragon Arcadian. It is perhaps one of the few of the Were Hunter series where the Arcadians are shown as being better and more civilised than the Katagaria. While still a good read and a must if you are collecting the Dark Hunter Series, this book wasn't one of my favourites. I bought it in the Tapestry Collection which contained 3 other stories by other writers and I recommend buying it that way.
This is a smaller story than Sherrilyn Kenyon's others, but a good tale none the less.
The story is about Channon MacRea who is a scholar studying the “Dragon Tapestry”, and one night she meets Sebastian. Sebastian is one of the Were-Dragons, who can move through the ages. As per usual the tale is fun, and full of adventure and passion that Sherrilyn Kenyon is so good at writing.
Dragonswan is a novella - a short, fun read that fills in the gaps about a minor character in the other stories. Nice to have the answers though! Worth a look.
This is the thinest book I have in my collection, but I'm trying to complete the whole Dark Hunter serries... the story in this book is not as complicated and full action impact like the others... but it is still quite nice. I wouldn't say I really liked this book though, as I thought the story was way too short and it things happened way too fast... but I won't deny that I still enjoy it :)
Short, much too short for me but no less a good story. I would like to have seen the story between the Professor and Sebastian stretched more. Likeable characters, good plot and enough detail even though only a novella. If you like Sherrilyn Kenyon, then this is a good collectible for the dark hunter series. All of her books tie in one way or another.
