– Customer review on 27/02/2008 This is the third instalment in Pamela Aidan's reworking of Pride & Prejudice from Darcy's point of view and overall it was a great success. It's impressive that the author is able to extract so much information from Austen's story and retell it in a fresh way. There are some obvious 'Americanisms' that don't belong within the text and though they can be jarring they don't detract from what is a great conclusion to the trilogy, although given the nature of some of the loose ends left dangling, there could be more in store for Mr Darcy and his lovely wife.
