– Customer review on 03/02/2008 "Night Over Water" is fairly standard Follett fare, in that it is entertaining, gripping, and a lot like his other thrillers. This novel follows a group of characters desperate to flee pre-World War 2 Britain for the perceived safety of the United States. Of course, things are never that simple in a Follett book, as all sorts of intrigue must take place first, jeopardising the flight and the lives of the passengers. A good, solid read.
