Blackened Wings

Outside of the daylight world, hidden in the shadows that we dare not intrude upon, there are those who deal exclusively in darkness. They see us only from the outskirts of our society, and they cannot draw closer to the light for fear of being burned. These are those born to the shadow world, predestined to tread lightly among us and disappear as quietly as they have come, missed only by the others in their circles. And yet every so often, one of these oversteps his bounds and must be eliminated. Vale was one of these, but with a difference. He left someone behind to mourn hima]and to avenge him. But she, too, must be aware of the line that separates dark from light. If she crosses over, she may never return.
