Four Blind Mice is one of the more solid Alex Cross novels. Her the quirky prickly Cross finds himself investigating a murder in the closeted world of the military running into all sorts of complications and beaurocracy. Its fast paced and slick but very satisfying and extremely readable.

I first starting reading Mr. Pattersons books, when my husband bought me the 3rd Degree, and I could'nt put it down. I read this one, ad it's another winner. Mr. Patterson's books are really easy to follow, well written, not long or boring, they move right along, and the stories are great. They are real page tuners. I spend two whole days reading this book, and I absolutely loved it. I can't wait to buy and read more of his great books
