A young lawyer is found dead in an alley, with adrug addict standing over her body. It seems clean cut but the reality is far from that as Attorney Dismas Hardy and his friend Lieutant Glitsky discover in the course of their investigation. And just what is Glitsky hiding. Effective thriller with a good sense of place.
