When the Quidditch World Cup is disrupted by Voldemort's rampaging supporters and the terrifying Dark Mark is resurrected, it is obvious to Harry that, far from failing, Voldemort is getting stronger. The ultimate symbol to the magic world of the evil Lord's return would be if the one and only survivor of his death curse, Harry Potter, could finally be beaten. So when Harry is entered for the Triwizard Tournament - a competition between three wizarding schools to find the ultimate magician - he knows that rather than win it, he just has to get through the trials alive.

Ok, Harry is pretty angry in this book, which tends to build in later books as well, BUT, you still love it! There's a lot to take in and the book jumps around a lot, but it's got some great one liners and it was good to have Dobby back.
this book has an awesome cover!! I haven't seen this one before! Maybe it came out when the movie did? Anyway...i wish i had got this edition instead of mine... Goblet of Fire is my favourite Harry Potter book because the plot is so different to any other in the series and i really love the challenges that Harry has to face.
harry Potter's bored, very bored. stuck in lousy no 4 Privet Drive,. who wouldn't be? But then, arriving with a bang, come the messy, red headed weasleys to take him on the trip of a lifetime...to see the Quidditch world cup. But it seems that that and the events that happen while he is there will only be the start of an eventful fourth year at hogwarts...
And harry wikll be right in the middle of it all...
well to start harry got eventually out of privet drive but theres more the world quitdige match the goblet all of this who knew hed be that lucky but how did his name get in the goblet of fire and by who the weaslie twins couldnt make it so who was the darkest powerful wizard who could snape moody and he was up against people years older how on earth would he win or loose and be killed. there are friends of his competing helping seemed the right thing to do but was it he finds his parents powerof love undeniable but will it be enough to prevent deaths in the place he calls home the hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry
i again give it ten out of ten
another classic from j.k rowling, this harry potter book is excellent as it is still full of humour, great storylines and character development, all in the darkest storyline yet of the harry potter books. the book was great as it was compelling and i couldnt put the book down, as i was dying to keep on reading and find out the suspenseful ending. a wonderful 4th installment of the harry potter series, and definitely unmissable for any harry potter fan!
harry potter and the goblet of fire is my fave book I dont think that there is any human being who doesnt like harry potter!! this series of books is absolutely amazing and they have made jk rowling a billionaire! so obviously they are good! this book esepecially has it is quite dark but also has a little bit of humour at the same time. i would definatley reccomend this book to you!
Here the books begin to darken somewhat, and J. K. Rowling's insistance that these books were not intended for small children can finally be understood. This is the first book in the series which is capable of provoking tears. It also happens to be the first which begins to delve deeply into issues in 'our' world - such as media misrepresentation. Aside from the prolonged Quidditch game at the beginning, which begins to drag, this is a book on par with those which precede it.
Harry Potter books are an awsome series and are filled with excitment and mysteries from begining to end. all worth the read and so hard to put down. The price is nothing compared to the enjoyment that you will get from reading this book. You definately want to purchase this book as you will be missing out if you dont! these books are famous for a reason! i recommend this book for all
'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' is one of my favourite books, quite apart from being an integral part of the hugely successful Harry Potter series. In this instalment, Harry is mysterious entered into the Triwizard Tournament, much to the dismay of Dumbledore. The story takes us on a wonderfully vibrant journey through the tournament and furthers the interwoven histories of Harry and Voldemort.
This book is bloody good. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing of the magical wizards and the magical world. A great storyline I think many will love. This book excited my imagination and stimulated my mind. Again a very good read one of the best of the series. Really got me reading and made me enjoy it.
