I read this book within 24 hrs i couldnt put it down, it was beautiful and also heart breaking. If you are planning on reading it dont forget tissues

This is the first book of Jodi Picoult's that I have read. I read it in about three days and took it everywhere I went. It was a great story overall but I was a tiny bit disappointed with the ending. Otherwise a wonderful read, loved the characters, well written. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I think this has got to be my favorite book by Jodi Picoult. From the very start I felt like I was part of the characters. One of the best parts of the book is the confusion between right and wrong. I wasn't able to apply my normal morals to the situation and still after reading the book multiple times I can't decide. Hope everybody enjoys it as much as I did!

I read this book because i liked 'my sisters keeper'. While 'The pact' is very good- it just quite didnt measure up. it still provokes the mind and keeps you wondering but i was just ever so slightly let down. this is not to say it was not worth reading! still a great concept and all just....well, without giving it away- read it and make up your own mind.

This book like all others that Jodi Picoult writes is a well thought out and beautifully researched book. She also writes about the tough subjects and this book is no different. This book explores what could happen when you love someone but you can't distinguish if it is love or in love. The two kids had always been expected to fall in love, and their parents were ecstatic when it happened. But what happens when one of the kids die, and it seems that it may have been the other kid that killed her. Excellently written and comes highly recommended

Another beauituflly written book by Jodi Picoult. It definitely shows the human side of teenage turmoils. Having said that, I didn't quite enjoy this book as much as some of the authors other titles. It still gets a thumbs up though because Jodi Picoult writes in such a manner that has you rivetted and turning those pages.......

Jodi Picoult really handles the tough situation in this book with care. She brings us the story of love, but that love has consquences. The interesting point of this book is how people handle tragedy, not only in their own household but with their friends as well.

The book touched me as a mother and as a teacher. After reading this book I thought about how much parents and teachers do not notice. If we did, the world would be a safe place for all to live. But the truth is that as parents and teachers we only see what we want (and need) to see and hope for the best.

I think this book really brings home several different messages to parents and teens, all of which I will leave out so that I do not ruin any of the story for you.

It's tagline is "A love story" and it is nothing short, an amazingly crafted and unmissable. Absolutely fantastic and enriching, lovable characters, and a heart wrenching plot you can't help but fall in love with. The tale of the death of a young girl suffocated by the love of her childhood swwetheart, who then is tried for her murder. YOU WILL LOVE THIS BOOK!!!!!
