– Customer review on 07/11/2008 An excellent snapshot of a rather scary consumerist label ridden elite 90s culture.
This book reads VERY fast- amidst all the name dropping and model shoots there are murders, terrorist plots, and conspiracy theories.
It echoes the themes of American Psycho- albeit ten years later- and admittedly is not for everyone.
I enjoyed reading it but it definitely left a sour taste in my mouth which I can't help wondering if that is exactly what Easton Ellis set out to achieve.
