Do not judge the book based on the movie!! This book is just mind-blowing. It's absolutely incredible. Jeffery Eugenides has truely created a masterpiece. The point of view this book is written from is so very unusual it keeps you on the edge of your seat always wanting to know that little bit more - but the narrators themselves just don't have that detail. Incredible. the details of this book keep you hooked and the sense of mystery about everything is carried through so well. Would highley recommend! five stars.
The movie cannot even come close! this book is fantastic! written entirely from a third parties point of view - the mystery keeps you intrigued - never certain what's happening, always intrigued and just waiting to hear more! One of those books that really plays with you mind: and you enjoy every moment of it!
