"The saga of Dark Angel continues! Someone is killing normal humans in the fog-enshrouded city of Seattle. The murders are brutal and grisly, but inside Terminal City they barely cause a ripple of concern. The transgenics who live there have problems of their own. In an area under siege by the oppressive arm of the police, the transgenics must protect their fledgling colony against the outside world--a world that eyes them with contempt and suspicion . . . and will do anything to be rid of them. As the killings escalate, Joshua comes to Max with a dire suspicion: the killer may be one of their own. Tensions are high between normal humans and transgenics, and many inside the protected City would just as soon let the humans fend for themselves. Yet Max and her inner circle know they must investigate the crimes and stop the bloodshed. Doing nothing would simply give the normals more reasons to hate. But what they discover will shock even the most jaded among them--and expose a sinister agenda that leads to an old, nefarious foe. . . .

A very good read for Fans of the show that wanted an ending to the series. The only bad point i found was regarding 'Alec' the storyline didn't seem to follow where the writters were heading in regards to him and Max, it was said in the special features of season two that 'Alec' was going to be a potenial love interest for Max. I would have been happier if the author continued with this or at least kept their friendship growing. but in the book Alec doesn't even have the back seat hes more being dragged along behind. other than that the story and everything was very good.
One of Manticore's less successful experiments, and a nice joke---'Chameleon Boy', has become a serial killer. Evil and twisted Ames White ends up behind it. The Freak Nation has to investigate the case before the army moves in on them, after White's media manipulation.
Thanks to a decent cop, and two ex-subordinates of White's who dislike him about as much as everybody else, more, in their cases, as he was trying to get them bumped off--Max manages to work it out, but not without casualties and kidnappings.
All in all, a decent handling of the characters, again.
Dark angel skin game
I am a total fan of the TV series. And I think that this is just great for any fan. You do learn a lot more about the series and the characters if you read about them rather than just watch them. A five out of five star book and a five out of five stars buy.
Skin Game closely resembles a couple of the Dark Angel episodes from SEason 2 of the Show but is still a worthwhile read.
More developments occur with regard to Ames White and the Familiars and all other aspects of the Dark Angel World. This book has a good plot in itself, which deeply connects the other 2 novels to gradually unravell the fact that the 3 books act together as an interesting Trilogy. Highly Recommended
