– Customer review on 30/05/2007 In this third installment another Shakespearn dies, and again, Lily is there to ensure the baddies do not get away with it and that she does not get stuck with the accusation. Again the murder/detective plot is relatively simple, but that is not the joy of a Harris novel, it is the interesting character reaction and development to the situations they find themselves in. I find the books are more about returning to a well loved town and meeting familiar people again, than determining whodunit. Again, this novel shines a light on the ugly darkness that is present everywhere and we get to see Lily further her relationship with ex-cop PI.
