A killer has killed a rich and powerful senator and a poor black girl and nobody suspects a link. Nobody that is except for Alex Cross whose quirky intuition leads him to realise just what kind of killer he is tracking. Predictable in its twists but readable and well paced and quite satisfying.
And in a big way. With a mysterious Jack and Jill killing high profile celeberties, Alex Cross also has a killer on the lose who is targeting children that attend his very own son's school! With direct threats made to the presiden. he is pulled to work on a team of others to find Jack and Jill.
This book was very good. A little slower then the first two, but all in all a great book with surprises hidden within each chapter. Just when you think you have it all figured out... think again. Highly recommend!

I thought this book was one of James Patterson's best novels. It is full of action but is also really sad as this novel is about a little girl that is murdered on the streets and nobody seems to care because of the colour of her skin, so this is based on racism. Which is pretty sad in itself because you know that things like this happen in real life. A must have if you are a James Patterson fan.
