Dangerous Tides is as sensual as it is an intriguing story of danger, mystery, and romance...with a touch of magic of course. Libby Drake is the sensible sister. One of the things that Libby secretly longed for but also was afraid of was finding a love of her own. Ty Derrick, a brilliant chemist and adrenalin junkie, has returned to Sea Haven to spend time with his cousin Sam. He's also decided that it's time he settle down, but the only problem is the only girl he could ever dream of being with is Libby Drake. Their paths finally cross when Libby risks her life to save Ty's. Sparks fly and Libby and Ty finally give in to their desires. But while they're busy falling in love, someone is also busy trying to murder one of them. There are several suspects but the climactic moment finally reveals, to their shock, the person behind the attempts on their lives.

This is a great book, this is the 4th drake sister story, like the other three before this 1 christine feehan has like normal created a great storyline and characters, ty and libby are great together, even though ty can and is annoying now and again he's also loveable, libby thinks she isnt as special in looks and abilities compared to her other sisters but she is, this is her story, like all christine feehan stories when you start reading them its difficult to put them down.

This is the fourth book in the ‘Drake Sisters’ series, and is one of the best. ‘Dangerous Tides’ is about Libby Drake, the healer among the seven sisters. The only man Libby has ever cared for is the annoying and brilliant Ty Derrick, a genius with the body of a god and the social skills of a baboon. When Ty is horrendously injured, Libby risks her own life to save him, not that Ty realises it. He believes the whole Drake family is at best delusional about their abilities, and at worst, con artists. Still he can’t get Libby out of his head, or his heart. He decides to court her and marry her, with all the ineptness he is famed for. What neither realise however, is that Libby has another admirer who wants her services, while Ty’s own background will lead them both into danger.
‘Dangerous Tides’ was, for me, much better than ‘Oceans of Fire’, the characters more realised, the plot better put together and plausible. The best part, however, for all you who have read the others and can’t wait for the story of Hannah and Jonas, is that the two of them begin their inevitable romance in this book. I’m hoping their story will be the plotline of the next novel, while Feehan has also been introducing storylines for Joley and Elle as well. If you like the Drake sisters, you’ll enjoy this book . . . just be patient with all the facts filling the pages. There’s a reason for them, even if they do get a trifle tiresome after a while.

This is one boring read. The hero in this story is so uninteresting that I gave this book up at page 112. How can you go from writing the Carpathian series to this. I have struggled with this series but continued because of the author, however this book killed any further interest in the Drake sisters. Ty is an ass and Libby pathetic!
