The D’Artigo sisters are half-human, half-faerie, and work for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. Unfortunately their mixed heritage means that their powers short circuit at the most inopportune moments. Take Delilah, for example. At moments of stress she shapechanges to a tabby cat, which doesn’t help when she’s enlisted to investigate the slaughtering of werewolves, werepumas and the like. Very well written, fascinating central character, and I think better that its prequel, ‘Witchling’.
