Briggs, Patricia Alpha and Omega
The Chicago Pack is in trouble, necessitating a visit from the son of the werewolf king. He’s expecting many things, but not to find Anna, the only woman whose touch he can bear. As for Anna, she finds a new sense of self, and a love beyond anything she had dreamed. Excellent characters, and Briggs’ slightly darker style is even tauter in a shorter story.
Wilks, Eileen Inhuman
This is my favourite story. I couldn’t put it down. Kai has a secret gift of sensing thoughts and desires, but what she senses in her neighbour Nathan could be dangerous. Is it possible he is not quite human? And does it matter when he is the only ‘man’ she wants. The characters are great, but it’s the combination of characterization, plot, and sense of place that makes this novella outstanding.
Chance, Karen Buying Trouble
A Lord of the Fey crosses paths with a fiery red-headed Mage named Claire in a New York auction sale, where Claire is the item for sale. Funny, romantic, dramatic, this novella has a touch of everything.
Sunny Mona Lisa Betwining
Mona Lisa is part-human, part-Monere, and destined to be alone, or so she believes until she meets a man who could be her salvation or her downfall. Typical Sunny fare, so if you like her style, you’ll like this.
