Ditto. As everyone has said before - what a great read. I love the highlander series and Adam Black's story is my favourite. I didn't think he'd get his own story but boy-o-boy thank you very much. How much more can a person salivate over these yummy-too-good-to-be-true-hunks in this series. Thanks Karen for a great series. I llove the interaction of hero and heroine, so-made-for-each-other. If I had a gripe it would be that the heroines sound short!! Oh well whatever. I've read all of her books in this series, keeping them all for rereads over and over - can't wait for the "Dark" series.
This was the first book i read of the series and it got me hooked! I have the whole series and i love all of them!!
I love the challenges Karen gives the characters in order to be with each other! LOVE THIS BOOK!
I have been waiting for a long time for this book. The character has popped up in several other of Moning's stories and was definately worth waiting for. This story will tantalize you and keep you wanting more. Great use of dialogue too. Witty and charming, Karen Moning never fails to please her readers.
I love it! I love it! I love it! and i can't say it enough. I symphatize with Adam loosing his ehemmm immortality. Being that he risked it to save Dageus in the previous book. However, it's very good to see that he's being taught a lesson, given that he was such a sexy, yummy trouble maker! ah! so funny that he was so desperate to hold on to our heroine and still pretends to be in control. I like it when this beautiful, naughty, dark fae falls. And Fell hard in love he did!!!
I truly didn't think I'd like this one as Adam has been such a little troublemaker when he's popped up in Ms Monings other books...HOWEVER this is probably my number 1 favourite book of hers now!! I was totally hooked by about page 2 and found it hard to concentrate at work, I wanted to finish it that badly!!. Love the way it followed on from Dark Highlander and would love to know if his character is based on anyone (what a hottie!!!)..........make sure you have a day put aside to read this one, very hard to put down!!
Just like the blurb says BEWARE. This book romance of the highest cailbur with a sexy independent heroine who convently sees fairies and a darkly sensual alpha hero who just happens to be a cursed fairy. What follows is a rolicing adventure filled with wit, passion and action as well as very steam love sceens which will leave you breathless and reaching for your partner.
In all I highly recommend this book to those who love alpha men and hot love sceens. However, I will recommend that if you can, read the other books before this one, it will save you alot of confusion.
Definitely a keeper. Good to see the author give Adam Black his own story. He seemed mightier than all in the short glimpses you see of him throughout the series. Look forward to the next book.
I am not sure about Adam. I must say that after reading Adam Black's story, I am still a bit mystified. He gave up immortality for love which is sweet but personally I would have preferred him to go on meddling with all heroes. Afterall, it is good for all the gorgeous highlanders to feel a little bit insecure by Adam Black's allure and all man..ness
