– Customer review on 28/08/2007 A good book, not sex for sex's sake, as some of her SEAL books, although the lap dance scene is a bit over blown...so to speak.
SEAL Kell Kreiger has known Emily Stanton since she was ten, has wanted her since she was eighteen, and has done nothing about it because he has already lost someone important in his life and he knows that losing or endgangering Emily in any way wuld be far worse. Of course Emily might not agree with that. Having been a kidnapping victim two years previously, Emily has decided to live, with a capital L, except for her sex life, which doesn't have any capitals yet since the only man she dreams about is Kell. Her father has been throwing muscular bodyguards in her path, but instead of falling for them, her exploits send them whimpering back to headquarters, tails or other body parts between their legs. When news is received that the kidnapper of the past is after Emily again, however, Kell is called in, and nature takes its course, on several memorable occasions, although with less variety than some of Leigh's other books. There's lots of adventure here, some actual character development, and all in all, it's not a bad book.
