Before the Stephanie Plum series, Janet Evanovich wrote 12 romance novels. Nine are being re-released and this is the eighth. It is a romance but has a small mystery to solve as well. As is typical of romance stories the main characters get off to a bad start and don't like each other, but once they get to know each other that all changes. I prefer the Plum novels but if you like Janets' stories you'll probably enjoy this too.
