This is the story of Cam Rohan who was first introduced in the Wallflower books. Cam is a half - gypsy who has fought to find his way in life and has decided to go back to his old wondering Romany ways. There's only one snag to his plans - he meets Amelia Hathaway who bewitches him and makes him want to settle down into marriage, quite contrary to his plans of traveling the world. Meanwhile, Amelia feels herself to be responsible for her family and does not want to get married yet she cannot stop being fascinated by Cam. This may not be Kleypas's best book but I still really enjoyed it. It has a couple of faults; one is some sort of weird ghost which is really incongruous with the rest of the story. My other complaint is the abrupt ending. However, it sets up another couple of stories that I think will be really good.
