Truly, truly brilliant. More of a romance then the other Lindsey's - less of the lust/hate thing and more a warm glow-making book filled with love, droll comments, missteps, and seemingly insurmountable barriers passed. Loved it.
A wonderful Malory story! This one revolving around Derek who has been one of my favourite malory's! Set in Regency England, sometime between 1811 and 1820.
I liked the way the story started. I can honestly say I've never read a book where the heroine sold herself into mistress-hood in a "house of illrepute." The characters in the auction scene are well written. You can feel Kelsey's shyness.
I liked Derek's character. He was dominant, but not a jerk. He took what he wanted, but did so slowly and respectfully. He is also very protective of his lady, insisting that everyone treat her with respect. As the story progresses, you watch him fall in love. There are very strong emotional ties in this book that really come through.
I love a sexy romance....this is perfect for my fantasises....Sexy, erotic, romantic, PERFECT..LOVE IT! Good holiday or summer read. Perfect if you hate anything to deep and meaningful...Great to read as you soak up the sun, on the plane or even as you wait anxiously in the dentist waiting room...lol....Fun, sassy book perfect for the twenty and thirty somethings waiting to sink their teeth into something footloose and fancy free...
The suspense was amazing...Blew me away!
