Hilarious battle-of-the-sexes stuff, filled with laughter, with blunt, beautiful Amy in hot pursuit of over-controlled Warren. While the characters are not the world's most believable, Amy's stubbornness and individuality and Warren's cutting remarks that never actually disturb the happy, light-hearted heroine. A happy jewel of a book.

Not one of my favourites but still worth a read if only to complete the malory series. I was a little creeped out at first by the age difference between Amy and Warren but you can easily get over that. Amy, like the rest of the Malory's is very persistant, almost to the point of being obsessive. But still the characters warm to you and while at first Warren just seems like an unfeeling cold fish, once he accepts Amys love, you can really warm up to him. One for the girls.

Amy and Warren's story remains my favourite Mallory story of all time. Witty, amusing and a great romp, Amy decides that Warren is the man for her... but he doesn't agree! But Amy is a Mallory, and if there is anything to stop a man from hating the Malorys it has to be... a Malory! Amy is a charming heroine, there is plenty of Jeremy and James... what is not to like!
