– Customer review on 13/09/2007 This book is the follow up to "After midnight". Whilst it can be read on its own, I would recommend that you read its prequel first. In this story, Portia is reunited with Julian, the vampire she saved when she was a teenager. In the ensuing years, Portia has grown up but has not lost her love for Julian or her desire to help him find his soul again. Meanwhile, Julian has fallen into the depths of depravity. Can she save his from himself and from eternal damnation. This is a very light read that does not take much brain power. I did not particularly engage with it - paranormal is not Medeiros' strength. I think her 'normal, human' stories are much better-I would recommend 'Yours until dawn'.
