This is the first Kresley Cole historical novel I have read and it did not disappoint, this story is based around the strong characters of Court and Anna with the prequsite bad guy in General Pascal.

As with her other books the fast moving plot is backed up by various supporting characters that keep the story moving at a fast pace.

Very enjoyable and I am definitely interested in reading the next in the series.

first historical book by kresley cole, and i found that i dont like it very much. the characters felt flat so i dont feel connected to them as i do with the second and third book. at time i found myself drifting off to space, seeming lost but other then that it was really enjoyable and tie with the other book.
