I'm afraid I didn't go as much on this book as I have the others in the series. I didn't feel a connection between the main characters and some of the improbable elements of the plots really stretched the reader's credence. Having said that, I will continue to follow the series and hope MacGregor returns to the quality of previous books such as 'Born in sin'

This was quite an interesting medieval romance, as it didn't spend too much time focussing on what the scene would have been like back then and how it is different now, which I enjoyed. There's nothing worse than spending three chapters just telling us who the characters are and where they are. So, the characters are very loveable, the plot is excellent and overall I really enjoyed reading it. Highly recommended.

I cannot get enough of Kinley MacGregors books. I enjoyed Christian and Adara's story - so will you. I don't like to tell the plot but suffice it to say all the ingredients of : hot sex, alpha male, strong female and fast plot with lots of suspense are all present and deliciously combined to provide a reader's feast. Just enjoy and be prepared to be left wanting more and more in this series about the Brotherhood of the Sword. Definitely part of a keeper's collection.

Filled with romance and adventure as well as sceens which wil have you laughing out loud, this book is a must have for any lover of historical romance. While it is part of a series (The Brotherhood of the Sword) it can be read alone although having read the previous books would be a definite advantage as events from previous books will be mentioned (you have been warned). However, some confusion can be suffered through in order to read this wonderful story which comes complete with love sceens hot enough to scorch the pages and have you reaching for your partner. Enjoy this offering from MacGregor.
