This was a good book and I really enjoyed it, up till the end when Ms MacGregor introduced a cliff hanger which 4 years later has still to be continued.

Other than this minor issue, the story its self was great. It has just the right mix of humour to make it a passionate yet fun read. Kinley MacGregor writes strong leading characters that you will enjoy reading about.

Finally Ewan's story and isn't Nora just the woman to bring him home where he belongs. Love the intrigue and the fast moving suspense. MacGregor does not fail to hold our attention as she weaves another great story in this series. Good to see other characters from previous works and also the promise of another story or mystery at the end of this story. I want to find out more which means buying more of MacGregor's books in this series. I love my historical romances and the detail has just been fine in all of the books. Definitely a keeper.

Such an enjoyable read yet again by K.MacGregor. The MacAllister's series is brilliant.....witty, engaging, very very romantic, sexy and at times erotic.
This book had a good plot and a nice cliff-hanger at the end that left you gaping and searching desperately for the next book (I have yet to find it :-( )
Nonetheless, definitely read this book if you enjoy a lighter-written scottish historical romance that is definitely an easy read and also a real page-turner.
