– Customer review on 29/04/2006 Philip K Dick has had a number of his stories made into film "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" became Ridley Scott's "Blade Runner"; ""Imposter" was made into a film starring Gary Sinise; "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale" became Arnie's "Total Recall"; and the wonderful "Second Variety" became "Screamers", starring Peter Weller.
This volume has a whole raft of Dick's stories, from the wierd "Wargame" to the whacky "Oh, to be a Blobel!"to the downright scary "What the dead men say." Warning: "The Minority Report" does have a cop accused of a crime he hasn't committed yet, but that's as far as its similarity to the film goes. Fascinating sci fi short story writing.
