This book is written by the same author who wrote the fantastic Darth Bane - Path to Destruction Star Wars novel, so you would expect it to be good... and it is. It follows the story of David Anderson through an intriguing story of mystery, suspense and balls-to-the-wall action. It's set in 2157, which is 27 years before the Mass Effect game that is coming out.
If you're hanging around waiting for Mass Effect, I highly recommend picking this book up as it introduces the main villain Saren. You will not be disappointed.
