– Customer review on 25/10/2007 Sid Halley returns in this offering from the ageing Dick Francis. The plot is recycled, as is the main character, from early Francis novels. My feeling is that the author is beginning to lose his touch. Having said that, however, this is still a great thriller, with Halley being asked to help discover the risks of gambling over the Internet, as well as solving the murder of Huw Walker, a possibly bent jockey. Although not the best of the Dick Francis novels, it's not quite the worst either, although it's pretty close!
