Slow moving and simply written, this book is only really worth reading if you have seen the TV show, know the characters and are angsting for more Dexter.

It is almost painful to read at times, though the story is good enough, the writing is bad.

If you have watched the TV series Dexter - you will not be disappointed in this book. It is even better than the TV series, as you get further insights into the way Dexter Morgan thinks, and dare I say it, how he feels. There are major differences in the book versus the TV series, and all for the better enjoyment of reading a fantastic book. If you are into new experiences, this is one for you, as a serial killer goes out to kill BAD people.....and you end up actually liking the guy...The running commentary by Dexter is amazing as you can really get into his head, so it feels like you know Dexter Morgan by the end of the book......Do yourself a favour this year and definitely read this book!
