This book provides an interesting perspective on life after death. It leaves you reflecting on your own purpose in life and the impact your actions have on others around you.
It's a fantastic book to read and review in your bookclub as it provides a wealth of differing ideas and discussion.

This book is often over-rated.
It's a good book, but not a great one. I love the concept of the protagonist dying and meeting five people in heaven who each have something to teach/impart to him.
However, I feel this idea was not as well executed as it could have been. Perhaps in the hands of a more experienced and highly talented writer this could have been 'timeless', but as it is, it's an enjoyable read and nothing more.
If you like Mitch Albom's other books, by all means give this a read. Just don't expect to be remembering this book for years to come.

Mitch Albom has given room for thought in this book. The book is an easy read, and I found I was consantly wondering who the next person would be. It is a great reminder that even people we don't know or necessarily meet can be and are influenced by our lives, the same as we are affected by other people's lives and decisions.

Not that happy about the overall quality and print quality of the book. Pages offset and cut to different sizes so pages uneven down edge of book. Considering how obviously bad it is I'm amazed it was sent out to me.

This is actually an interesting story. The ending caught me by surprise.
Mitch Albom is good at words and good at presenting a story.
I don't know how heaven is like, and I don't think there's a right and wrong answer to it. The story makes one think, what's important in your life. What has been the major impact on your life? Perhaps any questions unanswered will be answered in the end. All the goods and bads, they will end eventually.
But I still personally prefer "Tuesdays with Morrie". :)

I loved this thought provoking book. Able to be read in an afternoon, it has the ability to change your perspective on life almost immediately. I recommend this book for people who are looking for answers to the 'big' questions of life.

Albom is an amazing writer - I thoroughly enjoyed this novel along with his others. Simplistic yet touching.

I really enjoyed this book. Easy to read and thought provoking without being too serious or sentimental. An elderly funpark worker meets 5 people in Heaven who have impacted and altered his life. This novel gets you thinking about the influence we have on those around us. A very enjoyable read.
