The "Folding Ideas for Cards and Envelopes" is a useful book if you're a visual learner.
For me, though I need a little bit of extra help and that's where the CD rom comes in handy offering templates and extra files. In the book, however, there are simplified diagrams with no measurements or proportional standards.
However, there are very helfpul tutorials on how to use the patterns on Youtube posted by papercrafters who have used the book with success.
This book is suited for an international market where there's little to no written explanation and that's where it can fall flat for someone who isn't a visual learner.
Overall, a useful book for someone looking for new ideas to adapt into their own methods, but falls flat for those people who are looking for an indepth explanation of how to achieve some of these folds.
