"Gluten-Free Cooking" brings together 80 recipes that can be enjoyed by sufferers of coeliac disease (gluten intolerance) along with a range of other dietary ailments including lactose and dairy intolerance, irritable bowel syndrome and fructose malabsorption. This is a practical guide for those who love their food, but are often thwarted by the sensitivity of their systems. There are recipes for fine dining, family dinners and vegetarian eating, as well as tips on how to stock a gluten-free pantry and suggestions on how to put together a sustaining breakfast and healthy lunchbox. With colour photography by renowned food photographer Ian Wallace, this is one as much for the health conscious as it is for lovers of good food.

This is an excellent recipe book. Some of the main meals have become staples for my weekday family dinners. There is a great range of recipes for a wide variety of occasions: breakfasts, soups, afternoon tea, vegetarian dinners, lunch boxes, desserts, drinks, etc. The photographs are very good, and the recipes are quite manageable. The author is Australian, and the ingredients are commonly available - I don't like recipe books published overseas. I highly recommend the 'Speedy Risotto'.
This is an excellent book, written by an Aussie author, with a range of recipes including dinners and vegetarian recipes, snacks and desserts.Unlike some Gluten Free books, the recipes are easy to cook, not overly complex, and measurements are in Aust figures, in addition, I have found all ingredients can be bought from main supermarkets. Suggestions are made for alternative ingredients, as well as lactose free. I particularly can recommend the Cheese and corn savoury picklets, curried vegetable patties, and speedy risotto. Highly recommended, and not too pricey, as the majority GF books retail abt $40 each, ths one reasonably priced and agood range of recipes.
Great book if on a gluten free diet. Have tried many of the recipes, all easy to follow. Made the pavlova on the cover - tasted beautiful but didn't quite look like the picture!! Recommend this book.
