This book is Amercan, so some of the ingredients are hard to get or cannot be found here in Australia, others such as almond meal etc can be found at the supermarket. The book has wheat substitutes etc at the front but id already done this research, also stockists listed are in USA. the book is divided into sections with appertisers, breads casseroles, desserts, main courses, pasta rice and beans, salads, sauces and soups. most recipes easy to follow with nutritional analysis, and indication if its nut dairy, egg, free. Recipe measurements are given in pounds and ounces a nuisance as have to convert.
Ive found other Aust ior UK based cook books have more recipes id use day to day; however the mushroom risotto and bean burgers are nice tasty dishes,in this book, sadly there are NO pictures so you cannot see what the recipes look like, which I found disappointing.
A wide variety of recipes, and lots of nutrition tips - there is a section devoted to different ingredients that can be substituted for one another, and I really like this information. Recipes are simple and easy to follow.
