A haunting and truthful book, tells the tale of a young girl caught in the clutches of drugs, unable to drag herself out of the trap. I first read this years ago, and revisit it occasionally. It will never leave you.

I have read this book more than five times, and each time i find something else that tugs at heartstrings. The journey is anything but amazing, and compelling at the same time. Its beautifully written, and shows us that we all have some sort of weakness. A rather trueful story about the dangers and damages that drug abuse can cause not only to someone but to the loved ones.

At the beginning, I thought the book was slightly dull and boring, but i kept on reading and found out that couldn't put it down because of how much i loved it. I really hope there are more books like this one. It shows you the real hard times teenagers have to go through. It shows you about life and death and I really liked that about the book!

this was a really interesting book about a girl who was addicted to drugs. i dont think that they know who really wrote this, which is interesting in itself. "alice" battles with her addiction, and this is really gripping stuff, as this book is a journal, so it is all her thoughts. a bit of a sad ending, this book is really memorable.

This was depressingly bad. It did not feel at all believable and certain "facts" about some drugs and their effects were just plain bollocks. I read it in half an hour and promptly gave it away. Possibly interesting to the prudish adolescent but I doubt it.

This is a real diary of an anonymous teen - this in itself makes it a gripping read. We follow her journey - we worry about her when it's been a few weeks since her last entry...what's happening!? This diary really lets you step inside the young girls head and understand how she came to be in the situation and just how difficult it will be to get out of it
