The second book in the series is a must for fans of The Hollows. The book begins with Rachael getting into trouble over a simple run. A series of witch murders requires Rachael to help the FIB and go undercover at the local magic College. Another action packed book by Kim Harrison.
The combination of a kick-ass female (witch) lead character & a tough 4 inch smart-ass partner makes this a must read for supernatural fans!

When she becomes involved in the grisly murders of local witches the plot quickly takes off. This book is better written than the previous one and the biggest thing that I like to see is a character that is not always right about everything.

Let's see. You have dead vampire and live ones. That is one problem. Rachel has both kinds that want to shag her, bite her, do both, or some combination of them. This includes her roommate and her roommate's boyfriend. There is also a demon that wants to do considerably worse things than that.
She ends up helping the human investigator types deal with a case that is out of her league, by going undercover to witch school, basically.
This book was great! I could not put it down. Fans of the first book will love this one. It was very action packed, and keeps you on the edge of your seat. And Rachel always seems to be getting herself into trouble!! I love it!! Definately a must read.
