The Good Schools Guide was founded 30 years ago by two journalists in search of schools for their children. It now comprises a team of over 50 editors, mostly parents but some former headteachers.
"One of the best aids to parents...informative, witty" - Financial Times; "Like its predecessors, it's based on visits and the views of parents, pupils and staff. It is just as untroubled by the sensibilities of schools - and as cavalier in the face of the squawks from those it has offended." - Times Educational Supplement
