I read this story to my class after teaching shapes but it would have been a perfect launch prior to starting to teach children about shapes. The story was great because it had pictures that linked to real life contexts as well as how adding 1 angle and 1 side can change a shape. The story is good because some parts are repetitive which the children liked.
I bought this as a classroom resource, but have been reading it to my daughter as well. A fun way to introduce kids to those hard to remember shapes with more than four sides!
