Lovely tarot deck for beginners. The deck is a Rider-Waite style with wands being called rods. The illustrations a very colourful with lots of detail, giving a very bright and positive feeling with a medieval fairytale look. The cards are of similar size to normal playing cards so are easier for beginners to shuffle. It is also very good for accomplished readers as it has lots of information to impart for each card to tell its story. Each card is titled in 5 languages, English, Spanish, German, French & Italian, with English being the main. The numbers follow Rider-Waite with Strength being 8 and Justice being 11. The court cards are the same, Kings, Queens, Knights & Page. The Page cards are drawn so as they can be taken as either man or woman. I like this deck very much and being smaller i can port it about with me wherever i go. A great addition to any collection also a good way to start with tarot.
Another tarot deck I have and like it is ok I dont use it a lot as there are others I feel drawn to use more often I like it and its picture remembering every picture tells a story and it is a path working tool and is a insight into ourselves our spirit and our souls if we look deep enough it is a good deck and a good practice deck.
