I'm extremely disappointed to read that this is the American version. I have bought this set as a Christmas gift and would never have done so if it had been clear in the description that it was not the same as the books I have read. Very unhappy!

the harry potter book series by author J.K Rowling is one of the best children's series' ever written! definitely a must have for the bookshelf, and this series is especially great because, even though it is aimed at children, it has been enjoyed by people of all ages, as the books are so well written! i highly recommend giving these a read if you haven't already, or if you don't own all of the books. this box set is definitely the one to get, and at such a great price too!! A+++

My new Harry Potter set is just Fabulous!!! As a massive Potter fan and since I have read the books three times this new addition to the collection of memrabillia is Great!! I'd just like to thank fishpond for the free postage and low prices that made it easy on my wallet!! I especially love the box that the are contained in. It is a favourite scene out of the 7th book and is really special.

I was pleasantly surprised by the time taken for my order to arrive. Really quick. The box set is great but this is the American version and the stories are noticeably different from the english versions. If i'd known this I would have got the english set. Great books though.

I was a bit surprised that this was the American version (Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone instead of the Philospher's Stone etc). But it was great to reread the exploits of Harry, Ron and Hermoine from first to last. Orphans, evil, magic, mystery and friendship - always an award-winning combination!
